The 4th Annual Boulder Unicycle Festival (BUNI) August 22-24, 2008 
The 4th annual
Boulder Unicycle Festival has been scheduled for August 22, 23 and 24, 2008.
This event will include trail rides, uni hockey and urban rides in addition to
other scheduled events. If you are a newbie or experienced in the art of
unicycling you won't want to miss this unique and fun festival which will
include movies, breakfast and picnic gatherings. The current schedule is a work
in process but as time gets near we will have a set menu of events and
locations. For information on what to do and where to stay in Boulder see the
following links. Maps, final schedules and times, and venues will be handed out
at each venue each day. To register send in the Registration form below or

Boulder Rec Center outside. We
will have a schedule of uni games that include Flag Uni, Relays, Sumo (last man
standing) and others. Possible
Trials competition depending on entries to the Festival. Followed by an Urban ride.. South Boulder Rec Center 1360

Saturday
Morning Ride and Breakfast 8 - 10am
Meet
at 6th and Canyon parking lot East of the Boulder Court House for a ride to the
top of Canyon Road. Ride 3 miles downhill on paved and dirt under and over
bridges alongside Boulder Creek to Boulder's Farmers Market. This is a
non-technical ride for all levels but can be made challenging for the more
experienced riders.

Saturday uni
hockey 1 - 3:00pm
Meet
at South Boulder Rec Center in-line hockey rink. 1360 Gillaspie Dr. There will be an exhibition game with
experienced riders followed by free play. Bring sticks. Extra sticks and water
will be provided.

Saturday
Afternoon Ride 3pm – 7pm .
Community Ditch, Doudy Draw, Mesa Trail head
Options are for a short or long
ride. Start at new Mesa
Trail head on Marshal Road and rte 93 just across from gas station on rte 93 in
Boulder. Shorter ride will
loop Community Ditch and Mesa trail about 2 mi. Longer ride start at Doudy Draw trail head on Rte 93
and ride to Mesa trail head loop 7 – 10 mi. depending on loop chosen. Maps provided at hockey venue or Mesa
trail head at 3pm. Water and
snacks will be at Mesa trail head.
- Immediately
following the trail ride 6pm – 10pm
Evening
BBQ, movie, music and uni networking
Food,
music, outdoor movie provided by Boulder Unicycle Club
Bring
a drink of choice. This will
be outdoors so dress accordingly.

Sunday
Morning Ride
This
is an optional Ride for those that have not had enough yet. The current plan is
to meet in Boulder to commute for a ride to the trail location.. Possible location are Red Rocks, White
Ranch, Hall Ranch, Mesa Trail.
